About Vampire Facial
The Vampire Facial is a treatment option for patients interested in the rejuvenating properties of platelet rich plasma, also known as PRP. It is a minimally invasive treatment that can boost skin cell renewal and initiate collagen and elastin production to help improve a wide variety of skin concerns.
What it is
The Vampire Facial includes a process called microneedling, which creates thousands of tiny channels in your skin to allow your growth factors to reach a deeper layer of your skin where cell growth occurs. This procedure has numerous benefits but is most commonly used to create a smoother texture of the skin, reduce pore size, and reduce any scarring that is present but does not affect volume of the face.
How it Works
When you come in for your appointment, a numbing cream will be applied and allowed to absorb before the procedure. One of our clinicians will then draw a small sample of blood and place it in our centrifuge to separate the plasma from the rest of the blood.
After the numbing cream has been allowed to set in, your clinician will remove it and apply a small amount of your PRP to your face. As the microneedling device is passed over the treatment area, it creates tiny micro channels, allowing the PRP to be absorbed deep within the skin to initiate new skin cell production and boost collagen.

Vampire Facials are considered safe when performed by trained and qualified practitioners. However, as with any medical procedure, there can be potential side effects. Common side effects include redness, swelling, bruising, and minor discomfort, which are temporary and should resolve on their own. In rare cases, more severe side effects such as infection, scarring, or skin discoloration may occur. To minimize risks, it's crucial to choose a reputable provider and follow their post-treatment care instructions carefully.

Before your Vampire Facial appointment, consult with your provider to discuss your medical history, current skincare regimen, and any specific concerns or expectations you have. They may provide pre-treatment instructions, which often include avoiding certain medications and skincare products for a designated period before the procedure. It's also essential to stay well-hydrated and maintain a healthy diet in the days leading up to your appointment to optimize the effectiveness of the treatment. Finally, be sure to arrive with clean, makeup-free skin on the day of your Vampire Facial to ensure the best results.
